• DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2026 removed the strict split between the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) and the Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP). Any format is acceptable when the four ILAW components are evident and aligned — this weekly layout keeps the DLL habit of seeing five days at once.

• Use it per learning area and section. One competency can run across several days; write it once in the top rows.

• No extra components may be required by offices or schools beyond the framework (DO 16, s. 2026).

• Old DLL/DLP formats (DO 42, s. 2016) were allowed only until the end of Term 1, SY 2026–2027.

• Check the official text on deped.gov.ph (not reachable when this template was written, 19 October 2026).
