How to print this poster
1
Check the size
This file is 48 × 36 in (122 × 91 cm), landscape — the common conference size. If your conference asks for A0 (118.9 × 84.1 cm) or 36 × 24 in, change Design → Slide Size before you add content, and choose “Ensure fit”.
2
Use sharp images
Insert charts as PNG at 300 dpi at final size, or as SVG. A 10 in wide figure needs about 3000 px. Photos from the web are usually too small and blur when printed.
3
Keep text readable from 2 m
Title 85–100 pt, headings 44–50 pt, body text at least 24 pt. Cut words before you cut the font size.
4
Export a PDF
File → Export → PDF, “Best for printing”. Open the PDF at 100% and check every figure and every [bracket] placeholder is gone.
5
Send to the print shop
Give the PDF and the size in writing: 48 × 36 in, landscape, matte paper or fabric. Ask for a proof if you can.
