ETIAS isn't live yet — don't pay anyone for it
The European Commission: ETIAS is currently not in operation and no applications for travel authorisations are collected. The EU will announce the start date several months before launch, and applications will go through an official website or app.
When it starts, ETIAS will apply to visa-free travellers visiting 30 European countries for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The fee has been set at EUR 20.
Important
Visa-free travellers don't need an ETIAS for trips now — and should not pay intermediaries that claim otherwise.
